Position: National Sales Manager
Qualifications/Responsibilities: Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to increase business with existing accounts while prospecting new business. Must have experience in long sell cycles and be able to maintain positive communication between all parties in the development process. Ideal candidate should have proficient computer skills, ability to learn new software management system, manage a detailed call plan by preparing a variety of reports, including activity, closings and expenses and have ability to work independently yet interact closely with our sales support team.
Ideal candidate will have direct selling experience in a wide variety of lightweight, flexible, abrasive resistant, heat tolerant, innovative technical hoses to provide solutions for a wide range of industrial applications
- A four year degree and /or five years of quality or related experience
- Develops strategically targeted account-specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local market forces impacting product sales
- Region to be determined – Candidate most likely will need to reside in the Houston, Texas immediate area but not mandatory
- Creates, builds and maintains relationships with assigned customers as well as training of these Representatives
- Responsible for new account identification and development
- Provides a high level of product expertise and customer service to all accounts
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific target accounts
- Provides ideas to improve product and company performance
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- 50% to 70% travel
- Can create and present dynamic presentations to a variety of audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and good listening skills
- Technical background
- Other duties as assigned
- Technical degree preferred; 5 years technical sales experience a must
Compensation:
